MOORLIFE BATH

The perfect over-all treatment for the body that relaxes the muscles and stimulates circulation to rejuvenate your body and skin. Often referred to as an exchange system, the Moor will draw out toxins from the skin and feed the nerve endings with pre-digested nutrients.

The therapeutic Moor Bath has two active components, namely thermal and chemical. The Neydharting Moor contains mainly organic substances in solution and it is only those substances that dissolve in bath water that can become chemically active. These chemical substances can be therapeutically effective in two ways. First by depositing on the skin and secondly by partly penetrating between the epidermal cells, a process that is called endosmosis or absorption. These fibres of the autonomic nervous system are directly stimulated in this manner. The substances can also migrate through the epidermis and into the capillary loops where they are caught by the blood stream and transferred to the general circulation and thus may also become effective by the hormonal route.

The effect of the Moor Baths on the autonomic nervous system also produce a number of positive changes in the serologic blood picture and a considerable increase in amino acids. In certain diseases, such as rheumatic ones, the hyaluronidase content of the blood is increased. It has been demonstrated that the Moor Baths reduce the activity of  hyaluronidase or even normalise it. The internal secretions of the pituitary and adrenal glands can be stimulated by the most varied stimuli, the Moor Bath count among those stimuli. Prolan, a hormone of the anterior lobe of the pituitary gland which stimulates the function of the ovaries, is also increased. Used as a body relaxant and toner it may also aid insomnia. Moorlife Bath affords effective relief after sunburn and will reduce the swelling and bruising  associated with sprains etc. It may also be used as a scalp treatment for itchy, flaking scalp.

Moorlife contains metabolism activating plants such as the stinging nettle, dandelion and cresses, aromatic gastro-intestinal agents such as chamomile or mint, tonic gastro-intestinal agents such as angelica or gentian, anti-flatulating agents such as fennel, agents promoting bowel movement such as the bird cherry tree, bladder stimulating herbs such as bilberry and heather, psychologically relaxing substances such as balm or St. Johns wort, there is no end to the list of medicinal plants which are part of the Moor.

Note. After using the bath, leave water to cool, then water plants or feed to animals to provide a nutrient boost.
