NUTRACELL EVENING PRIMROSE OIL

Known as the GOOD OIL Evening Primrose Oil is a rich source of EFA (essential fatty acids). It is particularly high in GLA (gamma-linolenic acid) which is found in mothers milk. GLA is not always readily synthesised from linolenic acid by many people, which can cause major problems. The production of GLA slows as we age and has been found to be blocked by fatty acids in some processed foods.
Studies have shown that a chronic deficiency of GLA can result in depleted immune function, hormone production and wound healing, inflammation, skin problems and hair loss, headaches, fatigue, restlessness, confusion, general weakness and compromised blood cell platelet function.
One half to one teaspoon daily is recommended. NUTRACELL EVENING PRIMROSE OIL is highly beneficial for topical skin application, however, best results are obtained when used both internally and externally.
